What's in the free in-home water test?

The test is a quick, no-cost check of your water done in your kitchen. You see the results as we go, and there's no obligation to buy anything.
What we check
- Hardness: the minerals behind scale and spots. See hard water.
- Iron: the cause of orange and brown stains. See iron and rust stains.
- pH: whether your water is acidic and could corrode pipes. See low pH.
- Total dissolved solids (TDS): a general measure of what's dissolved in your water.
What it doesn't cover
Bacteria, arsenic, radon, lead and PFAS can't be measured reliably with an in-home test. They need a lab certified by MassDEP. If you're on a private well or have a specific concern, ask us about a lab test.
How it works
- Book a time with the form. It takes about a minute.
- We call or email to confirm.
- We test at your kitchen tap and go over the results with you.
- If treatment makes sense, you get a recommendation and a written quote. If not, we'll tell you.
